Liverpool, of course, will regain top spot with victory at home in the Merseyside derby on Monday night. Nine of the last 12 league games at Anfield have been level at the break while Everton have drawn over half of their first halves since the start of 2006/07.
If Manchester City were trying to impress Kaka with what's on offer with a move to the blue half of Manchester than surely a home game to Wigan would be a tempting offer. City have won two-thirds of two thirds of their games (W14-D3-L4) at home to non-Big Four teams since the start of last.
As Chelsea teeter on the brink of implosion despite still being in the Champions League, FA Cup and in sniffing distance of top spot, nothing short of an emphatic win at home to Stoke will do. The Blues have won 39 of 40 games against promoted sides since the start of the 02/03 season, 28 of which had been by W/W while Stoke have lost six on the road this season by L/L.
Arsenal will be seeking revenge for the humiliation Hull inflicted at the Emirates earlier this season. 14 of Arsenal's last 20 away matches have seen at least three goals as have seven of 10 games at the KC Stadium this season.
Aston Villa are fourth but no one is talking about them. Perhaps victory at Sunderland will remind people of what they are achieving this season. Sunderland have lost over half of their home games to top-half sides since promotion while Villa have won 60% of their games away to bottom-half teams in the same period.
Sam Allardyce welcomes his former club Newcastle to Ewood Park but the hospitality will end there. Blackburn have lost one have lost only one of 13 home games against non-Big Four sides in the last 12 months, drawing over half. In the same period Newcastle have won only twice on the road, going W2-D5-L6 at non-Big Four sides.
Middlesbrough travel to West Bromwich Albion having scored the first goal in 13 of their last 19 away matches, while the Hawthorns have gone a goal down in half of their home games this season.
West Ham host Fulham with both teams showing strong trends for a drawn first half. Fulham under Roy Hodgson have been level at the break in 14 of 18 away while the Hammers have drawn 12 of their 19 first halves at home in the same time.
With both teams in a precarious position in the table, caution will be the watch word when Spurs host Portsmouth. Since their 6-0 defeat at Man City, Portsmouth have seen 12 of 19 away games with two goals or fewer while seven of the last eight at White Hart Lane have seen fewer than three goals.
