The big talking point ahead of this game is the likely first team debut of the recently re-signed Sol Campbell. What a time for the former defender from the “Invincibles” team to make his return, his physical presence could be suited to the Stoke game plan though. Clearly they will stick with their tried and tested tactics of long balls and throws from Rory Delap into the penalty area, this is meat and drink for Sol and he’ll relish the pushing and shoving that will come with it. Despite Arsenal breaking goalscoring records in this season, this game looks like being very tight. It’s just the nature of Stoke’s game that they will defend a high line against Arsenal and try and contain them.
